Town & Gown Community Band and Chorale present July 4 concert

The ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ University Town & Gown Community Band and Chorale will present a free Independence Day concert as part of Murray’s annual Freedom Fest celebration on Saturday, July 4, at 7 p.m. inside Lovett Auditorium on ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½â€™s campus.
2026 Commonwealth Honors Academy welcomes 94 scholars

This year’s Commonwealth Honors Academy (CHA) at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ University has welcomed 94 scholars among nearly 300 applicants. Scholars represent a total of seven states: Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Mississippi and Ohio.
Center for Communication Disorders receives special designation

ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ University's Center for Communication Disorders has been designated as Kentucky's official SPEAK OUT! Therapy & Research Center by Parkinson Voice Project, positioning the University as a regional leader in speech therapy services, research and clinical education for individuals living with Parkinson's disease and Parkinson's Plus syndromes.
